I want you to meet our beautiful models, they are girls I met in public or through a friend. They have never modeled in their life before and are just naturally beautiful on the outside as well as on the inside.
I met Phindi at my first Field Market. She and her sister came by my stall and Phindi actually bought a dress. Just after they left I remembered that I was actually in the process of getting a photoshoot set up for the new collection and Phindi will be perfect for it! Unfortunately they where already lost in the crowd and I could not find them.
At the end of the market Phindi and her sister came back to my stall to buy another skirt. This time I did not let the opportunity go past and I asked Phindi if she will be comfortable to do a photoshoot for my new collection, and the rest is history.
Phindi is a self proclaimed Proudly South African lover of dresses, books, food, wine and coffee so it was inevitable that we would meet. She is a self confessed "information junkie" who works as a Communications Coordinator at Brand South Africa.
Phindi I just love your energy and eagerness to do new things. You were a absolute dream to work with and I hope we will do so again in the near future ;-).
I met Shivani through my brother-in-law, who is also the fantastic photographer behind all the lovely photos. When I saw her I knew her look was just perfect for my brand and this specific shoot!
She is originally from Pietermaritzburg, but then moved to Cape Town to study Mechatronic engineering. After that she moved to Gauteng to begin her career and I am so glad for that move ;-). In her spare time she enjoys tennis, cycling, socializing with friends and exploring new and different places.
Shivani you are one of the sweetest people I have ever met. You are a force to be reckoned with in a tiny package. I hope to see you again soon!
I think what I loved most about this photoshoot was working with South African women from different backgrounds. They are so beautiful, interesting and strong in their own way and it shows in their pictures!
Thanks Phindi and Shivani!
